Washington, D.C. stands at a defining moment. Our city is rich with promise, talent, and resilience — yet too many of our families, seniors, and neighbors experiencing homelessness are being left behind. Today, I am stepping forward to lead our great city with integrity, accountability, and an unwavering commitment to every resident across all eight wards. 

 I am running for Mayor because I believe in a Washington where public safety is restored, where our schools prepare every child for success, where small businesses can thrive, and where homelessness is addressed with dignity, urgency, and long‑term solutions that create pathways to permanent housing and economic mobility. 

 My vision is rooted in service and guided by the timeless words of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.: “The time is always right to do what is right.”   For me, doing what is right means building a city where opportunity is not a privilege, but a promise — a promise we keep for every Washingtonian.
