This campaign is moving — fast — and every event is a chance to step into the momentum. Across all eight wards, we’re bringing neighbors together, sparking conversations, and building the kind of collective energy that drives real change.
From community forums to neighborhood walks, volunteer rallies to policy deep‑dives, each gathering is designed to connect people, elevate voices, and turn shared purpose into action. I’m out in the community every day because leadership means showing up — listening, learning, and standing with the people we serve.
Scroll through the events below, jump in where you feel called, and add your voice to a movement that’s growing stronger by the day. The future of our city is being shaped right now — and your presence matters.
On Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 1:00 pm-4:00 pm, join us in person, or watch online, then vote in our Preference Poll for the women that you feel best represent the interests of DC women. We will also livestream the events on Facebook -- a Facebook account is not needed to access the Debate.
The March 7 debate will include women candidates for Council of the District of Columbia Chairman, Ward 1, Ward 5, Ward 6, and Mayor of the District of Columbia.
A second debate on Saturday, March 14, 2026, will include women candidates for Delegate to the House of Representatives, and Council of the District of Columbia At Large Primary and Special Election. You will need to register for the second debate separately.

Join us in person at the Open Mic for Anacostia to dive into the challenges of low median incomes affecting Wards 8 and 7-- largely cut off from the rest of the city via the Anacostia River.
Median household incomes in Washington, D.C. vary significantly by ward, with data showing Ward 3 consistently boasts the highest median income, often exceeding$ 150, 000, while Wards 7 and 8 report the lowest, often below $ 40 ,000, reflecting deep income disparities across the district.

2026 Black History Month Political Forum
A Defining Moment for DC’s Future
At a time when the future of Washington, DC demands bold leadership, informed voters, and collective action, the National Pan-Hellenic Council of Washington, DC (DCNPHC)—in partnership with the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP)—and DC Action invites the public to take part in the 2026 Black History Month Political Forum.
Moderated by Phylicia Ashley of ABC News, this forum will bring together candidates seeking to lead the District of Columbia and provide residents with a rare and meaningful opportunity to hear directly from those who aspire to shape DC’s future. Rooted in the legacy of Black civic engagement, advocacy, and leadership, this gathering is both a reflection of history and a call to action.
